David started his career in management at Marks & Spencer, before joining the Inland Revenue in St Austell as a Group Leader. From this role he moved into non-account Investigations, before becoming a regional trainer covering the South and South West of England. After training for a number of years, David qualified as a PAYE & NIC Auditor, focusing on the Avon and Somerset area. He joined the accountancy profession in early 2000 and has worked across the southern region specialising in employer taxes. He has a particular interest in the construction industry and advises a wide range of businesses in this area.
David joined the Inland Revenue, on finishing full-time education, where he specialised in Employment Taxes. For the last 17 years he has worked in the accountancy profession specialising in a wide range of employer taxes issues. He is particularly interested in growing businesses, employee motivation and reward mechanisms and specific benefits in kind.
After graduating in Accounting and Law, Paul qualified as a Chartered Accountant. After three years of Audit related services, Paul decided to specialise in all aspects of employment taxation. In 2003 Paul set up adtax in Portsmouth to provide employment tax consulting advice.
Jon joined Adtax in June 2005 after spending seven years with two of the "big four" accountancy firms specialising in all aspects of employment taxes compliance and remuneration planning consultancy. Having graduated from Portsmouth University with a degree in Financial Services, Jon is a Chartered Tax Adviser and also member of the Association of Taxation Technicians.
